It appears true, after all, that a youthful Barry Obama, code name "The Hawaiian Lion," did, indeed, participate in the Weathermen's infamous 1969 "Days of Rage" campaign in Chicago:

Well, there you have it. Incontrovertible proof that Obama is a violent, communist-socialist, Muslim-Christian-liberation-theologist, elitist, drug-addled, tax & spend, America-hater! I mean, just look at him there. That is obviously the face of a hate-filled terror-monger bent on destroying the American Dream™... And, if he did it once, he'll do it again, only this time from the White House!!! 

There's more...  accompanying the photographic proof that was delivered to our offices was an audio recording of Obama, JUST LAST WEEK, as he got ready to speak to a group of "community organizers," singing James Brown's subversive classic, "Funky President," and Parliament's incendiary, "Chocolate City," which features the militant black nationalist lyric, "They still call it the White House, but that's a temprorary condition" and the radical mantra, "Gainin' on ya!"...

We shoulda known all along it would come to this!

Robert Downey, Jr., Blackens Up for "Tropic Thunder"

The new Ben Stiller film, "Tropic Thunder," has attracted controversy for a few reasons, including Robert Downey, Jr.'s character's decision to "blacken up." Is it simply ironic humor or is it offensive?

In response, a Slate reporter posed the question this way: Is it ever acceptable for a white actor to put on blackface for a role?

Is the Clinton Campaign Colorblind?

In the wake of more racialized comments by a Clinton surrogate, this time Geraldine Ferraro, the debate over whether the Clinton campaign is deliberately playing the race card has resurfaced.

Christmas Greeting from the Republican Debate

Well, this one probably isn't going to go over well with everybody, but I think the point is a significant one. The hawkish zeal of most Christian conservatives is very troubling. The lack of a moral voice on the war is also cause for great concern. Ron Paul is the only guy on that side with any integrity on this issue... and he is otherwise a lunatic.

So, to my friends on the Right, have fun choosing a nominee among this screwy bunch!
